Wild Turkey Longbranch Bourbon
A collaboration between Wild Turkey's master distiller Eddie Russell, and the distillery's creative director - the award-winning actor Matthew McConaughey - Longbranch is a truly tasty result. Made with eight year old Wild Turkey bourbon from the home states of the collaborators, Longbranch uses charcoal made of both Kentucky white oak and Texas mesquite to filter the liquid.
The nose shows a sweet blend of caramel, smooth toffee and lifted spicy nutmeg and oak. First taste brings creamy vanilla which fades into buttery caramel, orchard fruits, and a dash of lemon zest tempered by a drizzle of honey. The finish presents a pinch of black pepper, an underlying buttery note and lingering drying oak.
Wild Turkey have been making their whiskey for 75 years at the top of Wild Turkey Hill in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky. Spirited tradition and devotion to craft come together to yield their unparalleled range of bourbon. They use only non-GMO grains, their original yeast strain, and only the deepest No.4 "alligator" char to create their distinctive taste.
