Teeling Single Malt Whiskey
Teeling Single Malt Irish Whiskey is produced using innovative cask maturation and finishing techniques for a unique fruit-forward flavour profile. Made with Irish Whiskeys distilled from 100% malted barley, matured and finished in casks that impart the influence of five different wines.
White Burgundy casks allow subtle aromas of tropical fruit such as melon, pineapple and passionfruit, alongside fig, toffee and lemon. Sherry casks create good depth and body with rich dried fruit elements at first taste. Cabernet Sauvignon casks bring red berry and tannic elements mid-palate alongside vanilla and cloves. The later palate and finish shows Port cask influence of stone fruits such as plum and apricot. Finally, Madeira casks add warming ginger on the finish.
The Spirit of Dublin, Teeling Whiskey, understand that the delicate base of Irish Whiskey is the perfect canvas upon which to layer flavour and character. Varying the time, style and number of barrels used during maturation adds to subtlety and complexity. To retain purity, Teeling do not chill filter their whiskey prior to bottling, leaving as much of the natural character and richness in the bottle.
