A bright, light and fruity, natural 'Vin de Soif' (thist quenching wine) from Romania : made from organically farmed grapes and with little intervention in the winery. The whole bunches of grapes are left to ferment naturally in the winery over three weeks and the wine is bottled without filtration, fining or, unusually, the addition of sulphur.
This natural wine is packed full of bramble fruit notes with raspberry and blackberry dominating the aroma, smooth and juicy with complex notes of blueberry, packed with strawberry, bubblegum and ripe red cherry flavours and refreshing acidity and smooth tannins on the finish. Oaked ( 45 %) for 2 months in old oak.
This wine is best served chilled and to be glugged down to slake your thirst! A "glou glou" wine! or with T- Bone steak, red meats and hard cheeses.
