Original Moscatel Galego from Jose Maria da Fonseca is crafted using traditional winemaking methods. The alcohol is then gently removed using a modern method of spinning cones which extract the alcohol through a low temperature, vacuum distillation process.
This process keeps all of the natural flavours and aromas of the Moscatel Galego grapes. The result is a wine of lime green appearance that is smooth and fruity with citrus and orange blossom aromas. Try with fish dishes or salads.
Jose Maria da Fonseca are a 7th generation family winery who have been making wine since 1834. They have now become the first Portuguese winery to create de-alcoholised wine.
