Georgia is gaining more and more mainstream coverage as the birth place of wine (take the recent Grand Tour extravaganza!) and is the reason Turton Wines was established a decade ago after our founder fell in love with the country's offerings.  Following up his desire to bring unusual and long-forgotten wines back to UK wine lovers, our team has grown to become the leading merchant of Georgian wines in the UK. 

One of two of the highest premium wine regions in the whole of Spain, Priorat is a small and tightly defined area of viticulture with a history of winemaking stretching back to monasteries in the 12th Century. Its regard is mainly due to the full bodied and concentrated red wines produced, mainly from old vine Garnacha and Carinena (aka Carignan). 

Vinarija Citluk Blatina de Broto  (13%, £18.07) is a flagship wine of Citluk; the biggest winery in Bosnia-Herzegovina located in the southern Mostar wine region, where they concentrate on perfecting wines using Blatina & Zilavka grapes.

Serbian wine is on the up, with international trade rising in line with a renewed interest in its rich history of wine-making. Having produced wine for over 1000 years, viticulture has long been a key part of Serbian culture with 70,000 hectares of vineyards producing 425,000 tons of grapes a year in nine wine regions.
