Twisted Nose Watercress Dry Gin
Twisted Nose Gin comes from the picturesque city of Winchester in Hampshire. It is made in very small batches in traditional copper stills. The botanical selection includes juniper, grapefruit zest, cassia bark, fennel seed, orris, angelica, lavender and, most notably, locally-grown watercress. The humble watercress offers a delicate sweetness and peppery sparkle to this wonderful London Dry gin. The name comes from the word the Romans used for watercress, "Nasturtium", which means twisted nose.
Excitingly spicy with bright peppery notes, balanced by the sweet herbs. on the nose. On the palate this leads to crisp grapefruit comes through clean, adorned by the lively fennel and subtle floral hints. Bold pepper appears further on.
The finish is long and full, with citrus notes lasting to the end.
