A beautiful 5 grape blend from South Africa, this wine takes grapes from undiscovered parcels of vineyards across the country, Syrah from Swartland Grenanche Noir from Citrusdal, Cabernet Sauvignon and Viognier from Boekenhouskloof, and Cinsault from old bushvines in Wellington. The wine matures in 2nd and 3rd filled French oak barrels for 18 months. An explosive nose with great depth of spiced fruit and violet-infused perfume precedes striking freshness on a firmly structured palate with elegant and supple tannins followed by a long, succulent and textured finish.
