San Cassiano Valpolicella Superiore Le Alene
Grape: Corvina 40% Corvinone 40% Rondinella 20%
Valpolicella Superiore Le Alène is produced by partially dried grapes. We select the best clusters of Corvina and Corvinone from Alène wineyard and we put them to dry on plateaux. After forty days, grapes are vinified and the wine is aged for about 36 months in barrique.
The wine has an intense scent with complex aromas of ripe cherries, blackberries, blackcurrant, black pepper, mint, vanilla and anise. This stunning wine is very balanced and velvety, with a good tannin due to lime-stoned soil.
Enjoy with a big hearty beef dish, roast duck or a rich tomato-based pasta dish.
