A single malt Scotch whisky from Speyside that is aged in fresh bourbon casks of American oak, before being shipped to mature for a further 12 months in the remote Shetland Islands, near the Muckle Flugga lighthouse. This allows it to undergo many types of climate; gales, salt spray and summer sun.
Bottled on the mainland, the result is a unique dram that is rich and full of fruit, with all roughness smoothed away. Ripe orchard fruits, dried raisins, rich honey and touches of sweet smoke. Pure, pristine and distinguished.
