Trapiche Estacion 1883 Bonarda Mendoza
An Argentinian red wine from the Trapiche winery based in Maipu, one of the oldest wine regions of Mendoza. Carefully selected grapes are fermented in small concrete tanks for 25 days followed by malolactic fermentation and aged for 15 months in a mix of French and American oak barrels.
Fruity Argentinian red, packed with plums and strawberries, sweet spice, and finishing with a lick of liquorice and a wisp of smoke from the oak maturity. Ideal with grilled red meats, sweet and sour cuisine, and rich tomato pasta.
