Bright Maiden of Transylvania Feteasca Alba
Budureasca wines have won over 300 medals at international competitions such as Modial Bruxelles, Decanter and IWSC. Sitting in the heart of the Dealu Mare region with its sunny rolling hills, their wine ranges are renowned for quality. Their Transylvania Maiden series celebrates native red and white grapes known as maidens.
This wine takes the traditional name of Bright Maiden for the luminescent Feteasca Alba grape. Unoaked, it is cool fermented in stainless steel for 2 weeks to retain purity. It is pale green in colour with fresh aromas of ripe pear alongside summer flowers. Clean acidity and mineral hints in the aftertaste. Try with chicken, fish, seafood, creamy pasta dishes or soft cheese.
Budureasca has deep roots in the history of vine cultivation and embrace the ancient history of vine cultivation and winemaking in the Dealu Mare region of Romania.
