Badel Dingac 50 Plavac Mali Pelješac Dalmatia Croatia

£32.30

PRODUCER: BADEL
SKU: BADELDINGAC

Grape: Plavac Mali

A premium Croatian red wine produced from hand picked Plavac Mali grapes from the vineyards on the steep seaward facing cliff slopes of the famous Pelješac peninsular and perfect for long bottle ageing. (The name Plavac 50° is based on the average slope of the position. This precise inclination allows the grapes to absorb three suns, the sun from the sky and reflections of the sun on the rocks and the sea)

The wine is light purple in colour. On the nose it has scents of violets, cherry and dark chocolate. The initial taste is almost sweet, with ripe fruit up of plums and dark cherries. The tannins are refined. Overall it is a characterful and drinkable style. Pair with roast beef or lamb, with full-flavoured roast vegetables
