This Galician white wine uses the native Treixadura grape, allowing it to shine as a varietal. Grapes are harvested from high elevation vineyards of granite-sandy soils in the Ribeiro region and the wine is unoaked to preserve the delicacy of the grape.
Lemon with green hues, Abismo ("Abyss") shows a delicate floral bouquet with an enticing hint of pear drops. The elegantly soft palate brings fresh pear and melon, crisp citrus, spring flowers and a refreshing finish. Try with seafood, light fish dishes, paella, mild or salty cheeses such as feta.
Based in the Ribeiro region of Spain, Bodegas Pazo de Vieite has 10 hectares of granite-sand vineyards at altitudes between 200-350m. The microclimate of the area allows them to specialise in the cultivation of native white grapes Treixadura, Albarino, Loureiro and Torrontes.
