 WHITE WINE SELECTION

172 Grenache Blanc is an elegant, crisp and delicate wine. The palate is rich and expressive with notes of white peach, mango and a touch of lime blossom. Try with spaghetti carbonara, chicken Caesar salad or baked camembert. 
The result is a wine showing deep floral and fruity aromas of pear, apricot, spring flowers and subtle citrus. These fall on to the rich, balanced palate, filling the mouth with fruit salad before the mineral backbone provides a crisp, long finish. Try with fish and seafood dishes. 

Grapes are gently pressed before cool fermentation in stainless steel tanks to retain the fresh aromatics and purity of fruit. The result is a fresh wine of lemon appearance, with fruity aromas of citrus, pear and green apple. The palate shows excellent minerality alongside the fresh fruit with a touch of lime on the finish. Try with shellfish, salads, and light vegetable dishes. 

Unoaked with vinification in stainless steel, Sense Cap exudes an attractive yellow golden-green colour. Aromas and flavours of soft peach, pear, mango and banana balance with floral and herbal hints. The medium-bodied palate is creamy and soft with crisp freshness on the finish. Try with flavourful, bold salads.
 
This beautifully balanced blend of Arinto, Azal and Trajadura creates a wine of bright citric colour with fruity aromas of green apple, citrus and a plethora of zesty fruit in between. Very fresh, fruity and crisp on the palate, the taste is slightly off-dry and balanced nicely by the acidity. Familiar in style as a Vinho Verde, but well done, clean and invigorating. Try with salads, shellfish or light meals. 
Franschhoek Cellar Statue de Femme Sauvignon Blanc

Expressive tropical aromas tinged with capsicum open up to attractive gooseberry, grapefruit and pineapple flavours. The lively but gentle coated acidity follows through to a fresh finish of pleasing length. Recommended with prawns, teriyaki salmon, creamy mussels or chicken wraps. 

 RED WINE SELECTION

229 Syrah is a great wine, brimming with black fruit aromas. The palate is bold and full-bodied with dense ripeness of blueberry and an underlay of black olive. The finish is unctuous, juicy and lingers with tannins that are silky soft. Try with beef, barbecued meats, casserole dishes with mushroom or aubergine., or mature cheeses.
Ruby red with violet tints in appearance, the nose is fresh and elegant with characteristic aromas of cherry and red fruits. Light, harmonic and round on the palate with soft tannins. subtle spice and good length. Try with chorizo, spaghetti, roast dinners or Manchego and smoked cheeses.
Named 'Incanto del Sud' (Enchantment of the South), this wine is a beautiful ruby red colour lined with purple hues. The bouquet has a pleasant fresh fruit fragrance, whilst the palate brings more fresh red fruits for a lively yet soft taste. Try with hard sheep's milk cheeses, charcuterie, salami pasta or pizza.
Kayra Buzbag Red

Öküzgözü and Boğazkere complement one another beautifully truly reflecting the nature of Eastern Anatolia. Generous acidity balances intense tannins in a fruit driven wine with spicy character.  Flavours of cherry and red fruit provide an easy drinking style. Try with barbecued or grilled red meats (particularly lamb kebabs), mushrooms or aubergine, or mature cheeses.

Vine in Flames Pinot Noir

 

This retains very fruity characteristics for an easily quaffable Pinot Noir. Deep ruby in appearance with aromas of fresh cherry, blackcurrant and subtle spice. The palate brings robust flavours of black cherry balancing well with its fine texture and lovely soft tannins. Try with duck breast à l'orange, roast goose and turkey or grilled mushrooms.

Pirosmani is a different incarnation of the popular, native Saperavi grape. Still inky dark red in colour, but here left with just a touch of sweetness. A lovely, soft, round style that is appealing and easy to drink. Ripe bramble and damson fruit notes are overlaid with a hint of spice and just enough grip on the finish. Try on its own or with hearty rustic cooking – chunky soups, stews, and baked cheese dishes.
