Vineyard Notes: The Cantine Sacchetto wine-making company is located at the point where the provinces of Treviso, Padua and Venice meet and precisely in a small town called Trebaseleghe. It is here that the actual wine-making work - besides sales and administration departments’ – is carried out, with a selection of different wines of the Veneto and Friuli regions and the realization of products which are famous both in Italy and abroad.
THE ART AND HISTORY
The company was founded by late Sisto Sacchetto who set up this vine and wine-making trade in the early 20’s. The change into a productive and more structured reality took place in the 1980’s at the hands of the second generation. Filiberto and his son Paolo still handle the selection of the wines with respect for the values linked to the land and tradition.
Any innovation or modernization introduced to the winery has always been scrupulously devised from every point of view, with the aim of improving the quality of the product and the production process; in the choice of an expert and skilled staff; in the search for suitable packaging for each product and, finally, for a specific and diversified marketing strategy.
THE GRAPES AND THE WINE
All this takes place in full observance of the wine-making tradition in order to keep unaltered the characteristics and the nature of each wine.
The constant aim of Cantine Sacchetto lies in finding the balance between innovation and tradition, which is, at the same time, a guarantee for even the most demanding customers.
