Umani Ronchi is one of Enotria’s original agencies and we have been working with their wines since the mid-1970s. In that time Umani Ronchi and its owners, the Bernetti family, has become one of the leading and most respected estates in Italy. The estates have expanded to include 110 hectares in Verdicchio Classico, 60 hectares in Rosso Conero and 30 hectares in the Abruzzi. 2009 marked the 20th vintage of their groundbreaking red Cumaro, which really put the Marche in general, and Umani Ronchi in particular, firmly on the UK wine map. This year Gambero Rosso awarded Umani Ronchi with two Tre Bicchieri (three glasses) for Cumaro ’07 and Casal di Serra Vecchie Vigne.
