| Cellar Notes: | Rose has made a long overdue resurgence, as it should as an easy drinking companion to food and social gatherings during the warmer months in Australia. Anvers has used Shiraz (80%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (20%) from their estate vineyard in the Adelaide Hills to produce a refined style of Rose. A long, cool fermentation retains the vibrancy and freshness of the fruit flavours, while the understated residual sugar (7 grams per litre) provides a barely perceptible edge of refreshing sweetness to the persistent finish. Production: 190 cases. |
| Appearance: | Pale ruby red |
| Aromas: | Offers lifted raspberry and melon notes with a subtle thread of tropical fruits |
| Palate: | Vibrant candy apple and summer fruit flavours evolving on the palate accompanied by a hint of sweetness leading into the long, soft finish |
| Serving Notes: | Perfect on its own |
Vineyard Notes:
Anvers
Anvers grapes are sourced from low yielding vineyards in the world renowned regions of McLaren Vale and Langhorne Creek, as well as from Anvers own Estate vineyard nestled near the Kangarilla in the Adelaide Hills where 16 hectares are planted with Cabernet Savignon and Shiraz. First Class grapes, traditional techniques and a staunch "quality not quantity" mindset are the three main contributors that have lead to Anvers quite remarkable success - with both critics and public.
