Cellar Notes:The grapes are harvested by hand in March when they have reached optimal maturity, with care given to select the best bunches of grapes. In order to extract colour and aromas the must is interfused with its skin for 3 days at low temperatures. The must is then fermented for 12 days in stainless steel tanks with selected yeasts at temperatures ranging from 24º to 26º C (75º to 79º F). The wine is next left macerate for an additional 10 days to extract its fruity characteristics. Then, 50% of the wine is aged in oak barrels for 6 to 8 months. Finally, the wine is cellared in bottles for 6 additional months before its launch on the marke

Aromas:aromas of cherries and raspberries well combined with soft notes of oak
Palate:In the mouth it boasts smooth and elegant tannins followed by a sophisticated finish.

The Pacifico Sur range of wines are made by Tutunjian Estate Vineyards, which is a company that was started by successful American businessman Edward Tutunjian. They cultivate some 200 hectares of quality vineyards, including estates in the Colchagua, Curico, Maule and Casablanca valleys. Aided by top winemaker consultant Alfonso Espinoza they are creating some exceptional wines at all levels. Pacifico Sur is an excellent varietal range that shows good purity of fruit to give well defined varietal flavours.
