Cellar Notes: | First brewed in Eastern Prussia during the 15th century, Bärenjäger became the first commercial brand of Barenfang. Produced using Mexican nectar honey from the Yucatan province by Teucke & Koenig Bear Trap Company (today known simply as Teucke & Koenig), the Bärenjäger bottle features an image of a fur trapper trapping a bear and a beehive-shaped cap.

Aromas: | Intense set honey initially, then more honeycomb like aromas and some vanilla and caramel notes
Palate: | Like a dilute honey, very pure sweet flavours, but the mouthfeel is excellent, delicate and elegant; quite lively thanks to the alcohol with hints of toffee apples.the finish is warming and edged with residual sweetness.

Serving Notes: | enjoyed straight over ice, added to tea or a hot toddy, or even poured straight on vanilla ice cream
