Lustau Anada 1990 Oloroso Special Bottling

Price £24.80

Stock Level: 19

Grape:Palomino Fino
Strength:20%
Style:Sweet
Size:75cl

Cellar Notes:This is a vintage oloroso sherry, produced entirely from Palomino Fino grapes, pure grape spirit being added to arrest the fermentation, thus retaining the grape's natural sugar, and obtaining a semi sweet, rich oloroso sherry. Subsequently, Anada 1989 has been aged for fourteen years in american oak in Lustau bodegas, sealed, controlled and guaranteed by the Sherry Council. The wine was bottled at the end of 2003. Old gold in colour, with penetrating aromas of dried fruits and a hint of oak. The wine is soft and sweet, with great complexity, well balanced and very long on the palate. Serving suggestion: Serve as a digestif, or to accompany foie-gras, cakes and light desserts, blue cheeses and nuts. Serve slightly chilled.

Vineyard Notes:   Vineyard: Lustau
Emilio Lustau have always placed absolute quality ahead of volume considerations and thus stand apart from mainstream bland wines that the large brands promote today. Producing the full range of styles, from clean, pure, bone-dry Finos through to resplendent, unctuous essences such as PX, Lustau never fail to provide us with the very best quality. They have also recently completely redesigned their Solera labels: each style now sports the corresponding cask end symbol on the label. They`re also now waterproof - especially good for the Finos in icebuckets
