Cave De Roquebrun
Run by the inimitable Alan Rogier, the highly rated co-operative at Roquebrun, nestled in the picturesque Languedoc Black Mountains, produces some really exceptional wines. Their reds are characterised by gentle tannins and ripe warm fruit. vines have optimum exposure to the sun in a village framed by mountains protecting from behind, and with the River Orb flowing through and softening the climate. Established since 1968, Roquebrun's wine cellars are situated in the Haut Languedoc National Park, 30km north of Béziers and between the two regional capitals of Montpellier and Toulouse. The vineyards are spread over an area of 500ha of south facing, schistose hillsides
