Following bottling, the blend of reserve and vintage wine is aged for an average of three years on the lees before riddling, disgorgement, addition of the liqueur de tirage, corking and shipment. |
| Appearance: | Pale gold, with fine bubbles |
| Aromas: | Hawthorn blossom, toast and almonds on the nose. |
| Palate: | Great attack, with a creamy body which marries youthful and developed components in a balanced, complex whole. |
| Serving Notes: | Perfect on its own with or without canapés. However, has the depth and complexity to handle most fish, shellfish and risotto recipes. |

Arguably the most reliable non-vintage Champagne of them all, made by one of the very last family-owned large houses with their own grapes, from 214 hectares of fully-owned vineyard. The toasty house style is a consequence of the decision to age for three years on the lees with reserve wines which are kept in large wood vats.
