The Vitalonga Estate is boutique vineyard, located in Ficulle on the upper Orvieto hills, where the western border of Umbria meet Tuscany and Lazio. A land where Umbrian-Tuscany-Lazio vine growing traditions have been meeting since Etrurian and Roman Empire, when Figule was on Eastern border of Tuscia. Their wines are the greatest expression of Italian oenological production and their quality is recognised by the excellent scores given by experts of the most important domestic and international guidebooks.
Product Review
Vitalonga, Elcion 2005 Umbria IGT Ripe red cherry and a hint of sweet spice off sets the firm tannins beautifully. Medium body and balanced acidity would compliment tomato pasta sauces or herby veg. http://www.thewinetaster.co.uk
