This review is from The Wine Advocate The 2007 Rex Organic has the same blend as the Aureum cuvee but with 14 months in new French oak with weekly batonnage for the first 3 months. A glass-coating opaque purple color, it issues a captivating aromatic array of mineral, pencil lead, smoke, Asian spices, black currant, and blackberry. On the palate it has outstanding volume, great concentration and focus, succulent black fruit, tons of spice, and 5-6 years of aging potential. Drink this impressive offering from 2015 to 2027, perhaps longer
