| Grape: | Chardonnay |
| Strength: | 14% |
| Style: | Medium Dry, Oaked |
| Size: | 750ml |
| Cellar Notes: | Yellow and citrus fruit that complements to perfection the reserved, intense, round and very powerful big-bodied flavors that display obvious concentration and muscle on the dry but attractively textured and detailed finish. All barrels are from cooper Francois Freres. Grand Cru wines aged in 100% new oak. Premier (1er) Cru wines are aged in 60% new oak. Village A.C. wines are aged in 25% new oak.
Henri Boillot does not implement battunage (stiring of the lees in barrel) |
| Appearance: | Beautiful and golden. |
| Aromas: | Broad and richly textured grand cru with lush layers of peach, toast, apricot, and melon on the nose. |
| Palate: | On the palate it is satiny and ripe with a medium acidity level - which allows the wine to be drunk young - and a very, very long finish. |
| Serving Notes: | Too good to drink with anything or anyone else |
